Immigration and Visas

passportTrust Medical Recruitment will liaise with the facility in applying for your sponsorship or nomination from the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).

Most of our clients have sponsorship in place for medical professionals allowing them to apply for a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa Subclass 482 for the main applicant and their dependents.

Once both your registration and sponsorship applications are underway, you will be able to start the process of applying for your Australian visa.

We will provide you with the relevant information and ensure you are assisted throughout this process. You should allow yourself plenty of time to obtain a visa as it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for formalities to be completed. We strongly suggest not to book flights to Australia until your visa has been granted.

Once your visa has been granted we will then move forward with applying for your Medicare provider number so that you can start work.

Further information on visas can be obtained directly from the DHA website
