We would like to share the tips with you for a happy and positive recruitment process
Confidentiality, always
Tip #1
Do not share details of a clinic presented to you to another third party, friend, colleague or other associate. This is private and confidential information. Names, contact information and email addresses should be kept strictly confidential.
Be on time for interviews
Tip #2
Check time zones and make sure you set an alarm and can be available at the time the interview is arranged.
Keeping in touch via email
Tip #3
Once we’ve started to work with you, we like to keep things professional and prefer email communication. Whatsapp and Messenger chats are hard to keep track of, but ok for staying in touch if you need us to check something.
We love to get feedback on your progress
Tip #4
If you have had an interview with a medical centre that’s been organised through our agency, please tell us how it went as soon as you can. This will allow us to go back to the practice quickly to get their feedback and to see if they want to proceed.
All communications with your prospective employer should come through us
Tip #5
Let us know if the practice has tried to contact you directly. They have signed and/or agreed to terms of business with us, and all contact should be via our agency. Please forward any correspondence to us and do not communicate directly with any staff without copying us into the email or letting us know if they have tried to contact via phone, social media or messenger apps.
Be Transparent
Tip #6
If you have had other interviews with clinics or other agencies that you’re working with, please share the details with us. This helps us as we’ll avoid approaching those clinics and we’ll be able to provide professional consultation on the best option for you and your family.
The advantages of working with us exclusively
Tip #7
It might seem that working with multiple recruitment agencies gives you a better chance of securing your ideal job more quickly. But there are downsides for both you and your prospective employer. By developing a good relationship with one recruiter, they’ll really get to know you and seek out job opportunities that will be a perfect fit. For the clinic, it can be frustrating receiving multiple CVs and approaches from different agencies about the same person. Unfortunately, this gives an unprofessional image of you before you even speak to them.
As your exclusive recruiter, you have our undivided attention
Tip #8
We are only paid once a successful placement is made, so please be considerate of our staff and their time. We’re committed to investing our time in you, which is a risk to us and our clients if you are using multiple agencies.
Please be open and honest
Tip #9
This will help us determine how serious you are about a position we have put forward. It also means we know where you’re at in the recruitment process. It’s our job to support and advise you on securing the right job and conditions that suit your needs. Unfortunately, sometimes clinics will not be honest or act in good faith if you go direct.
Candidates do not pay for the recruitment services
Tip #10
To be clear, you should not have to pay a fee for registering and working with a recruitment agency. If you’re asked to do so, this is a ‘red flag’ to avoid that agency. We receive our fee from the clinic once a successful placement is made. For other services, such immigration, and additional paperwork or documentation work, there usually is a fee. Rest assured, we’ll be transparent about any fee for service we provide.
A few basic interview tips
Tip #11
Putting your ‘best foot forward’ increases your chances of success when you’re applying for jobs. Please wear professional clothes and attire, be polite, and make sure you’ve researched the clinic and area before interviews. Do not wear hats or hoods unless it is a religious requirement. Do not eat during interviews and try to avoid background noise and family members interrupting when you’re on calls with a clinic.
We’re on your side!
Tip #12
The process of migration and finding the right role can take a bit of time as we help you through the paperwork, processing and compliance requirements. We ask you to please treat our staff with respect and courtesy when dealing with them, by phone, in person or written communication.
We look forward to helping you through the process and working with you as closely as possible to achieve the best possible outcome.
